个人简介：

Dr. Shanfeng Wang is a tenured associated professor of Materials Science and Engineering and Biomedical Engineering at UTK. He is also a guest professor at East China University of Science and Technology. Before joining UTK in August 2007, Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in Polymer Science from the University of Akron and finished his postdoctoral training on biomedical engineering and orthopaedics at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Wang’s research interests include polymeric biomaterials for bone, nerve, and cardiovascular repair and regeneration, modulation of stem cell differentiation on tailorable substrates, and self-assembled structures for gene/drug delivery. Dr. Wang has published over 80 research papers and over 160 conference presentations with an H-index of 33.
